The word Aquaponics is combination of two words aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (raising plants in nutrient-rich water). The Aquaponics is not very much famous in eastern side regions because still the organic vegetables and fruits are available easily.

The fish produce ammonia-rich waste after being fed, which is pumped with the water to grow bed. The fish required oxygen in water to breath which come from grow bed after absorbing carbon dioxide by the plants.
