Aquaponics, my new project / hobby

Hi readers,

Today I have something related to nature and not IT...

The word Aquaponics is combination of two words aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (raising plants in nutrient-rich water).  The Aquaponics is not very much famous in eastern side regions because still the organic vegetables and fruits are available easily.

The system can be adopted with very low budget, let me explain the process to you...

The fish produce ammonia-rich waste after being fed, which is pumped with the water to grow bed.  The fish required oxygen in water to breath which come from grow bed after absorbing carbon dioxide by the plants.

Naturally occurring bacteria convert ammonia into nitrites and then nitrates.  Plants absorb the nitrates as nutrients. Plants are usually suspended on floating raft platforms or planted into rock.

I have asked the world to help me build this system...

The Quran Application for Windows Phone

Readers, I know this blog will not be very much related to IT but I want to share this with good faith as to give my readers an awesome look to an application that changed my routine as well.

The application is Quran on Windows phone as I am using a Windows OS based Lumia phone...  I will discuss some of the amazing features of the application...

First of all please it should be clear to everyone that it is not any advertisement of the above app its just sharing my personal experience that I felt after using it...

Before starting this post about the Quran Application on your windows phone, I want to clear some things considering this blog will also be viewed by other religion followers than Muslims... The Quran is Holy Book of Islam and the word repeated 'SURAH' in this blog means chapters of Quran on different subject of life...

Now come to the features...

 The activation of offline mode is just great, you have wifi connection, change into offline mode and download the 'SURAH' from the list and if you have activated translation as well from the settings, it will also download the translation as well...
















The recitation settings will allow you to select modes i.e. recitation in Arabic or Translation only or both... You can select the reciter which includes one of the famous and with amazing voices in the world as compare in the Quran recitation area...

Furthermore, when selecting the translation of the 'SURAH' you can also select language which includes, English, Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, French, Urdu and other many languages to get translation into...

 The search feature on the application is another nice feature to search for any word that the word is in which 'SURAH'...

 Finally this feature of the application is just mind blowing as imagine you have connected the hands free with your phone and opened the application and listening to recitation and want to change to another 'SURAH' just with voice command you can change the 'SURAH' with commands shown in the picture...

I recommend this awesome application to the readers who want to listen the recitation, remember the Quranic 'AYATS' and furthermore want to listen to the complete translation in their desired language to better understand the Holy Book of Quran-e-Majeed Furqan-e-Hameed...
